Community Guidelines

A good table starts with people treating each other like people.

Be respectful

Disagreement is normal. Harassment, targeted abuse, threats, stalking, hateful conduct and deliberate humiliation are not.

Respect boundaries and consent

Tabletop games can explore intense themes. Communicate expectations, respect stated boundaries and never pressure another person into sexual, romantic, violent or otherwise sensitive interactions they have rejected.

Protect personal information

Do not expose another person's private information or precise location without permission. Be cautious about the personal information you share, especially before meeting someone offline.

Keep discovery honest

Represent yourself and your table truthfully. Do not impersonate others, manipulate ratings or reports, spam users, or use Nerd Knight to run scams.

Use meetup common sense

If you choose to meet people from Nerd Knight in person, consider a public venue for the first meeting, tell someone you trust where you are going, and leave any situation that feels unsafe.

Report problems

The production app is intended to include moderation and reporting tools. Serious threats or immediate danger should be handled through appropriate local emergency services rather than relying solely on an in-app report.

Consequences

Depending on severity and context, violations may result in content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or account termination once the service launches.
